My main areas of current research are: (1) Cognitive functioning in depression and after uncontrollability pre-exposure (with special reference to mental models, reasoning tasks, working memory, and attention); (2) Conscious and unconscious processing of verbal material (with special reference to attitude change, social stereotypes and prejudices).
